Manager, Life Insurance UnderwritingFull-timeCompany DescriptionInsuranceJob DescriptionManage the area responsible for the evaluation of insurance risks for the purpose of determining the best product/premium solution through the review of life insurance files, client medical records, financial history, and information provided by agents and/or brokers. Provides guidance on the most complex cases and has full managerial responsibilities for underwriting staff i.e., hiring, firing and performance management. Will have a limited case load that focuses on key clients, and high profile, high priority cases.

Develops and manages relationships with agents and/or brokers, carrier underwriters and team members. Works closely with business leaders to help support and drive business. Manager may seek guidance from higher level management on the most complex underwriting issues.
