Mammography Technologist
Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support our client's medical facility in Seattle, WA 98115. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Specific Duties:
- Consistently performs high-quality digital mammograms
- Follows established protocols based on the needs of the individual patient and ordered exam
- Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam
- Uses radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Evaluates images for technical quality
- Maintains the cleanliness of the mammography machine and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified or board eligible in Mammography (must obtain certification within one year of hire)
- Active Washington State license or pending application
Preferred Education. Experience & Skills:
- At least one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Experience in multiple specialties

- Job Type: 3+ month contract to hire
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Office Hours: 08:00 AM- 4:30 PM
- Pay Range: $50-$57/hr. On W-2 without benefits
