Role Overview
Provide high-quality mammography services by performing diagnostic imaging in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include preparing equipment and rooms, capturing precise images, developing films, and evaluating image quality. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all regulations such as MQSA/ACR. Input accurate patient data into computer systems and deliver excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and staff. Educate patients about procedures, address concerns, and promote a positive experience. Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed to minimize exposure for patients and staff. Observe patient conditions during procedures, respond quickly to any adverse reactions, and assist with first aid if needed. Maintain the radiology environment, participate in quality assurance activities, and support team collaboration. Adhere to safety policies, including OSHA standards and infection control measures.

Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (WA) and Basic Life Support certification required.
- Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.
- Washington state certification as a Mammography Technologist and AART-M registration or willingness to train with two years of radiology experience.
- Preferred: One year of mammography experience.
