Role Overview

The Mammography Technologist performs technical tasks related to capturing and processing x-ray images, supporting departmental activities to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Execute mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment and process x-ray films accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain documentation and quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program or equivalent training.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred, with at least 2 years recommended.
