Seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities Include
- Performing mammography procedures per physician orders while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Preparing equipment, developing films, and evaluating image quality.
- Providing patient education and addressing concerns to alleviate anxiety.
- Ensuring accurate patient information entry into computer systems.
- Maintaining radiation safety standards and performing quality assurance activities.
- Monitoring patient condition during procedures and responding to adverse reactions.
- Adhering to regulatory standards such as MQSA and OSHA policies.
- Collaborating with team members and participating in shift rotations, including specialty and portable procedures.
Qualifications Include
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification.
- State certification as Mammography Technologist and ARRT-M registration preferred or will train with relevant experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Preferred experience: At least one year in mammography.
