Maintenance TechnicianHospitality Health ER is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our emergency room facilities in Tyler, Texas safe, functional, and patient-ready at all times. This full-time position is essential to our mission of delivering exceptional care in a clean, professional, and fully operational environment.The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable addressing both routine maintenance tasks and urgent facility needs with confidence and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Quality Assurance Director, the Maintenance Technician will:Complete assigned maintenance work orders efficiently and on timeRespond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in scheduled on-call coveragePerform general facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs; light bulb replacement, paint touch-ups, and minor drywall repairsInspect, troubleshoot, and maintain building systems and equipmentAssemble, install, and repair furniture, cabinetry, shelving, appliances, and equipment according to manufacturer specificationsEnsure proper functionality of safety and life-safety systemsCoordinate and collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams during renovations or facility projectsAssist with facility improvement projects such as painting, landscaping, power washing, and parking lot stripingAttend maintenance- and construction-related meetings as neededOperate a company vehicle for work-related assignmentsMaintain a professional appearance and comply with all company policies and safety protocolsPosition RequirementsStrong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindsetAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectivelyFlexibility to meet scheduling needs, including on-call responsibilitiesHigh level of integrity and accountability when handling company resources (credit card, petty cash, vehicle)Valid, unrestricted driver's licenseAbility to work professionally with staff, leadership, and physiciansEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of two (2) years of related maintenance experienceExperience with painting and drywall repairWorking knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systemsProficiency with hand and power toolsAbility to read technical manuals, schematics, and drawingsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:Stand and walk for extended periodsBend, stoop, push, pull, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasksLift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or more as neededWork flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsWork indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditionsPerform duties in fast-paced or potentially stressful environmentsSafely handle chemicals and hazardous materialsTolerate potential exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluidsWhy Join Hospitality Health ER?At Hospitality Health ER, every role contributes directly to patient care and safety.
