Maintenance / Service TechnicianJoin a global leader in precision manufacturing. Our client is a global manufacturer of high-precision CNC machine tools experiencing significant growth in North America. They are expanding their technical service team to support one of their largest U.S.

manufacturing customers.This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex industrial equipment and wants to work with advanced CNC technology in a customer-focused environment. This is not a production maintenance position. You'll serve as the dedicated onsite technical expert responsible for keeping sophisticated manufacturing equipment operating at peak performance.Compensation & BenefitsStarting at $30.00/hour (higher compensation may be considered based on experience)15% overnight shift differentialAdditional 5% premium for weekend overnight shiftsMedical, dental & vision insuranceCompany-paid life insuranceCompany-paid short- and long-term disability401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysMileage reimbursementCell phone stipendCompany-supplied computerLong-term career growth with a stable global organizationSchedulePermanent overnight position12-hour overnight shifts (approximately 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)Rotating schedule with every other weekend offDedicated onsite position supporting a major manufacturing facility in the Springfield, Ohio areaOccasional travel to nearby customer locationsWhat You'll DoTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair sophisticated CNC machine tools and manufacturing equipment.Repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Diagnose PLC and CNC control issues.Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service.Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting documentation.Support machine installations, upgrades, and customer modifications.Provide technical support onsite and remotely via phone, email, and video.Train customers on machine operation and maintenance procedures.Work closely with engineering and service teams to maximize equipment performance and uptime.Qualifications2+ years of industrial maintenance, field service, machine tool repair, or related technical experienceStrong troubleshooting skills involving: Mechanical systemsElectrical systemsHydraulicsPneumaticsPLCsCNC controlsAbility to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsFamiliarity with operating and setting up CNC equipmentAssociate degree in Electronic Technology, Machine Tool Technology, or related technical field preferred (equivalent experience will be considered)Ideal BackgroundsWe're interested in candidates with experience in:CNC Machine Tool ServiceIndustrial MaintenanceField ServiceMachine Tool OEMsAutomation & RoboticsPackaging MachineryIndustrial Equipment ServiceManufacturing MaintenancePrecision Machining EquipmentPLC/CNC ServiceExperience with grinding machines is a plus, but not required.
