You will be responsible for producing precision components while maintaining high safety and quality standards.Your Challenge:Set up and operate horizontal CNC lathes (DMG, Mazak, and Doosan models) performing precision machining to tolerances within 0.001"Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work ordersLoad materials and set tooling per job specificationsMonitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain tolerancesPerform routine maintenance on machinesConduct in-process inspection using precision measuring toolsMaintain clean and safe work environmentWork collaboratively with engineers and quality control teamYour Expertise:3+ years of experience operating horizontal CNC lathesProficiency with DMG, Mazak, and/or Doosan controls (e.g., Fanuc, Mazatrol)Strong understanding of G-code and M-codeAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsExperience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsExperience in a high-precision, low-volume production environmentBasic programming/editing skillsFamiliarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standardsDue to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizensMust be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
