Machine Operator TraineeThe Machine Operator Trainee must be trained by Machine Operator Basic or department lead. This role is responsible for operating and setting up Production machinery by completing the process from start to finish.Job Duties:Operate in line production machinery.Working with technical set-ups on machines.Ability to read and interpret diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.Accurately adjust machine setting(s) to complete tasks according to specifications and in a timely fashion.Set up machining center by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, stops and stock pushers.Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces.Keep up with the lines cycle time to prevent bottlenecks for the next station.Efficiently rotating staging carts between work in progress stages, from full to empty station.Maintain a high-standard 5S workspace by performing regular housekeeping, clearing scrap material, and organizing tool layouts to support continuous production flow.Perform routine care on equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, or changing worn accessories with hand tools.Strictly follow all safety guidelines and PPE protocols to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.Actively contributes to a high-performance team environment by taking personal ownership of results and supporting cross-functional cooperation.Perform other related duties as assigned.Skills:Ability to produce and work with fixtures on the machine.Knowledge of math, geometry and trigonometry.Ability to follow scheduled job sequence.Ability to deal effectively with others.Ability to analyze and resolve work related problems.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Bilingual preferred.Physical Demands:Required standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time, to bend, stoop, and work in tiring and sometimes uncomfortable positions. Lifts and carry items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
