This evaluation-to-hire position offers growth opportunities and 100% employer-paid benefits for you and your family upon successful completion of the evaluation period.Why Join Us?Competitive Pay: Starting at $18.75 per hour with potential increases.Excellent Benefits: 100% employer-paid benefits, including family coverage, after the evaluation period.Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement and skill development.Job Responsibilities:Operate machinery such as slitters and roll-forming mills to produce steel pipe and tubing.Maintain and perform mechanical repairs on equipment with maintenance personnel.Use various tools and gauges (micrometers, calipers, hammers, wrenches, etc.) effectively.Safely connect machinery and equipment to cranes using cables, straps, or chains.Prepare reports in accordance with safety regulations.Identify and report potential hazards.Load trucks and railcars with coil and high-strength steel as required.Lift objects up to 50 lbs.Essential Job Functions:Operate mill machinery (65% of working time).Handle, adjust, replace, or repair production line parts manually.Work at heights up to 50 ft.

and in pits up to 35 ft. using catwalks and ladders.Collaborate effectively in a team and work independently.Operate cranes and mobile equipment.Demonstrate troubleshooting skills and possess mechanical and electrical knowledge.Work with hot materials and around equipment with lubricating and cooling water.Utilize gas metal cutting, burning, and welding equipment.Train and operate overhead cranes and mobile equipment.Load trucks and railcars efficiently.Requirements:Experience operating mill machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred.Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working at heights and in deep pits.Strong teamwork and self-motivation skills.Proficiency in troubleshooting machinery issues.Mechanical and electrical knowledge is highly desirable.Familiarity with operating overhead cranes and mobile equipment is an asset.Willingness to handle hot materials and work in a water-flooded environment.Knowledge of gas metal cutting, burning, and welding equipment is advantageous.Excellent communication skills and report-writing ability.Ready to Apply?
