This position involves a high level of physical activity and hands-on work. Taking big sheets of raw glass, you use various machinery to cut, edge or polish to create a finished glass product for distribution. You will be responsible for basic equipment set up and maintenance to ensure high quality production.Using our standard operating processes and software, you will ensure product in created for jobs on time and to specifications. Attention to detail and accuracy are key to success. Your ideas matter and will be key to continuous improvement for Minneapolis Glass.QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent3 years of experience operating production machines or manufacturing workKnowledge of glass fabrication strongly preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude to work with tools and trouble shoot issues with equipmentMust be physically capable of performing the work, with ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
