Position Summary: The Machine Operator II is a skilled production role responsible for operating advanced manufacturing equipment, performing machine setups and adjustments, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting efficient workflow execution.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate production equipment while maintaining established safety, quality, and productivity standardsPerform machine setups, adjustments, changeovers, and routine operator preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment readiness and reliable productionRead and interpret manufacturing work instructions, work orders, specifications, and quality requirementsConduct first-piece inspections and verify machine settings meet established production and quality standards prior to beginning production runsMonitor equipment performance, production output, downtime, and scrap; perform intermediate troubleshooting and collaborate with Maintenance and other support teams to resolve equipment issuesVerify product quality throughout the manufacturing process and ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing specificationsFollow established quality system procedures, including product traceability requirements, line clearance procedures, and escalation of nonconforming product or process deviationsSupport shift handoffs by communicating production status, equipment conditions, quality concerns, and production prioritiesTrain, coach, and provide hands-on support to Machine Operator I employees on equipment operation, standard work, quality expectations, safety requirements, and best practicesIdentify and report safety hazards, quality concerns, equipment issues, and process deviations, taking appropriate action within the scope of the rolePromote workplace organization through 5S, safety compliance, Lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve equipment performance, product quality, workflow efficiency, and waste reduction, and assist with implementation of approved improvementsSupport production leadership by assisting with daily production priorities, workflow coordination, and operational needsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredTechnical or vocational training in manufacturing, machining, industrial technology, or a related field is a plusMinimum of 2–4 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience, or demonstrated proficiency as a Machine Operator IExperience performing machine setups, adjustments, and changeoversExperience operating computer-assisted or automated production equipmentExperience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferredExperience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality documentation requirementsBenefits:Health, dental, vision, basic life, and AD&D insurance401(k) retirement plan with employer match.Paid Time Off (Vacation and Protected Paid Time) and 6 company holidays.Tuition Assistance ProgramEmployee Brace ProgramThe salary range is based on several factors which will vary based on position.
