Machine/Grinder OperatorNesco Resource is seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Machine/Grinder Operator to join a precision-focused manufacturing team in Rochester, NY. Operators will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining grinding equipment while ensuring parts meet strict specifications and production standards.Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/Hour (Based On Experience)Shift(s): A Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Tuesday - SaturdayJob Duties:Set up, operate, and monitor grinding machines and precision manufacturing equipmentLoad and unload materials while maintaining proper workflow throughout productionInspect and measure parts using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other precision toolsVerify parts meet required specifications and maintain tight tolerancesFollow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standardsPerform routine machine adjustments, maintenance, and minor troubleshootingRecord production data and complete quality documentation accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaSupport continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with team members to achieve production goalsIdentify and communicate equipment, quality, or process concerns to leadershipRequirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious manufacturing, machining, grinding, or machine operation experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issuesExperience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometersAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsBasic math skills and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable attendance and safety-focused mindsetPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shiftFrequent reaching, bending, and movement around machineryAbility to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining productivity and quality standardsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
