Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,230 - $1,300
- Setting: Acute Care Oncology / Long-Term Care
- Location: Springfield, OH 45504 - a welcoming community with a convenient, accessible setting for an on-site healthcare role.
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend, every other holiday
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel LPN assignment with potential for temp-to-perm consideration
- Start Date: 5/4/2026
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment or eligible LPN applicant status
- One year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice is preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- EKG exam required
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred
- Ability to work night shift schedules, adapt quickly, and contribute to a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care under the direction of an RN and other licensed providers
- Participate in the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Administer ordered medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Perform phlebotomy services and assist with wound care, routine procedures, and patient monitoring
- Collect and document accurate patient data, observations, and care updates according to unit guidelines
- Recognize and report changes in patient condition promptly to support timely care plan revisions
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
- Work in a supportive acute care oncology and long-term care environment
- Gain valuable clinical support experience with a collaborative interdisciplinary team
- Enjoy a consistent night shift schedule in Springfield, Ohio
