We are seeking a Board CertifiedEmergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coveragein Seattle, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity to join an establishedemergency medicine team with a variety of shift options and weekend coverage.
Position Highlights
- Varied 9-hourshifts based on facility needs:
- 7:00 AM – 4:00PM
- 11:00 AM – 8:00PM
- 2:00 PM – 11:00PM
- 6:00 PM – 3:00AM
- 10:00 PM – 7:00AM
- Weekend coveragerequired
- No on-callrequirements
Responsibilities
- Providecomprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to theEmergency Department.
- Evaluate,diagnose, and treat patients with a broad range of acute and emergentconditions.
- Performappropriate emergency procedures and interventions within scope ofpractice.
- Stabilize andmanage critically ill or injured patients.
- Order andinterpret diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, and imaging.
- Collaborate withnursing staff, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Provideappropriate disposition, including admission, discharge, or transfer.
- Maintainaccurate and timely medical documentation.
Requirements
- Board Certifiedin Emergency Medicine
- ActiveWashington medical license
- Current ACLS, BLS, andPALS
- Current DEA registration
