Responsibilities
- Order Verification: Read order slips and match pulled items to ensure accuracy.
- Packing: Pack verified products into small parcels or pallets.
- Protective Materials: Use edge guards, kraft paper, and other protective materials.
- Equipment Operation:
- Banding machine (polyester bands)
- Kraft tape dispenser
- Shrinkwrap machine
- Documentation: Create basic Word cover sheets and pallet labels.
- Forklift Operation: Operate standup and sitdown forklifts to load/unload carriers and move pallets.
- Labeling:
- Label parcels for UPS/FedEx shipments
- Label pallets with tracking information
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate standup and sitdown forklifts .
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift, move, and stage pallets.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in labeling and documentation.
- Reliable, safetyfocused, and able to work 2nd shift.
