We’re Hiring | Litigation Legal Assistants | 3 Openings
We are currently hiring for three Litigation Legal Assistant openings with a well-established law firm.
Two openings will support the firm’s International Arbitration group and require bilingual candidates . We are also hiring for the firm’s Business Litigation and Creditors’ Rights groups; bilingual skills are not required for these positions.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of law firm experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant
- Experience working in a mid- to large-sized law firm
- Strong experience with Federal and State court procedures and deadlines
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys and managing a high-volume workload
- Ability to schedule hearings, appointments, and other attorney commitments
- Strong proofreading and drafting skills for correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents
- Experience with case openings, conflict checks, billing, records, expenses, and reimbursements
- Experience managing electronic and paper case files
- Familiarity with client billing, including entering narratives, tracking billable tasks, making edits, and delivering bills
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through
- Ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple assignments under tight deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with law firm case management and billing software
- Knowledge of iManage, SmartTime, and Aderant is preferred
- Ability to work on-site and maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
Bilingual Requirement
For the two International Arbitration openings , we are specifically seeking bilingual candidates .
The Business Litigation and Creditors’ Rights openings do not require bilingual skills .
