Litigation Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 6–8 years of legal experience to handle litigation matters involving employment and business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, case strategy, client communication, and dispute resolution.

The attorney will manage litigation matters, collaborate with colleagues, and develop effective legal strategies to achieve favorable client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis involving case law, statutes, and applicable regulations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Assist with and manage litigation strategy, case preparation, and document review.
• Participate in client meetings, gather relevant facts, and provide case updates and legal guidance.
• Support settlement discussions, negotiations, hearings, and court appearances as appropriate.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Review evidence and case documents to identify relevant facts and develop effective legal arguments.
• Manage multiple cases, competing deadlines, and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and team members to support litigation objectives.
• Maintain professional ethics and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 5–8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in litigation and labor or employment law.
• Admission to the Washington State Bar, subject to confirmation of the client's specific requirements.
• Strong knowledge of legal research, case analysis, and legal writing.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal correspondence.
• Knowledge of employment law, labor law, and applicable regulations.
• Strong client communication, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling employment-related disputes and litigation matters.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Ability to manage cases independently and develop practical legal strategies.
