Litigation/Transactional Attorney
This role is designed for an attorney who wants to build a well-rounded practice across both litigation and transactional matters while taking on real ownership of their work. The position offers the chance to contribute across all phases of civil matters, develop trial-facing experience, and grow within a firm that supports either partner-track ambitions or increased direct trial exposure, depending on your goals. The role is available in a hybrid capacity across DTLA, Thousand Oaks, Orange County, and San Diego.

Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of civil litigation and transactional matters with increasing independence
- Draft and develop pleadings, motions, discovery, and substantive legal analysis
- Manage a meaningful caseload involving complex, high-quality matters
- Conduct depositions, court appearances, and hearings, with mentorship available as needed
- Work closely with partners to advance case strategy and client objectives
- Maintain clear, professional communication in a transparent and collaborative team environment
- Contribute to a culture focused on quality work, balance, and attorney development
- Take ownership of matters and help drive progress toward efficient, effective outcomes
Requirements
- 2 to 10+ years of litigation experience; flexibility for the right candidate
- Expectation to meet 1850 billable hours annually
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy and sound judgment
- Interest in building experience across both litigation and transactional work
- Desire to work in a supportive, non-bureaucratic environment with close collaboration
- Interest in trial work, long-term career development, or pursuing a partner track
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work setting in DTLA, Thousand Oaks, Orange County, or San Diego
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
