Litigation AssociatePosition OverviewWe are in search of an Associate Attorney to join our Litigation and Trial practice group. To be considered for the position, applicants must have a successful academic record, strong communication and writing skills, and a positive, collaborative attitude.Key Responsibilities Participate in all phases of civil litigation, from the pleading stage through trial Engage in discovery, including drafting written discovery, reviewing documents, and preparing for and defending/taking depositionsFactual and legal research Written and oral motions practicePretrial and trial practice Appellate practiceQualifications2+ years of experience J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law schoolAdmitted to the WSBA or eligible for reciprocityAbility to travel occasionally Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity Ability to manage a variety of projects and to work independently, often in a fast-paced environment Experience with electronic discovery and large document productions An ability to find creative solutions to legal issues and to balance legal risks against business interests An ability to work as a team player who can manage paralegals and legal assistants cooperatively, efficiently, and respectfullyStrong written and verbal communication skills BenefitsHealth insuranceDental insurance401(k)Profit sharing retirement contributionsFlexible paid time off10 paid holidays each year
