Lighting Technician
Salary Range $38.00 - $42.00 Hourly
Job Scope
As a Lighting Technician, you will be responsible for installing lighting products safely and neatly in customer's facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professional customer service and have a vast knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. Additionally, there is a hiring bonus for bringing a complete crew.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with FSG safety policies.
- Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems.
- Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process.
- Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience.
- Lighting and retrofit experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel
- Must be reliable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive customer service skills
WE OFFER
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Normal working hours of Monday-Friday 7AM – 3:00PM. This position may offer or require overtime, weekend, night or holiday work.
Pay Rate: $ per hour, depending on experience.
