Associate Operator (Operator I)Location: Rochester, NY 14626Duration: 6 MonthsShift: "Firemen's Rotation": Two 12 hour days (6:00am-6:00pm) followed by two 12 hour nights (6:00pm-6:00am) 4 days on-3 days offPR: XXXX to XXXX/hr.Responsibilities:Perform basic job skills with the oversight of a qualified operatorClean and maintain tools and work areas.Perform basic functions of the work areaDemonstrates basic math and communication skillsMaintains an orderly work areaTime managementFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions preciselyAdheres to Company Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability policies, procedures and valuesInteracts and collaborates with peers and supervisors professionallyDemonstrates willingness to assist others in order to achieve work center goalsRequired Experience / Education:A minimum of a High School diploma, GED.A minimum of 6 months of related experience within a manufacturing environment.Ability to perform basic machine adjustmentsExperience in a regulated industry (cGMP, SOPs, audits, etc.)Proficiency in computers (i.e.; email, internet explorer, MS Word, etc.)Strong communication skills: Reading, writing, and team interaction.Dependable team player with a "can-do" attitude.Preferred:Experience with SAP.Experience with Lean Manufacturing.Exhibit an ability of mechanical aptitude.Key Working Relationships:Internal Partners: Maintenance, Engineering, QualityExternal Partners: SuppliersWork Environment The work environment characteristics are representative of a manufacturing, laboratory, or warehouse environment and include handling of viral and bacterial hazards, potentially hazardous chemicals, as well as infectious or potentially infectious bodily fluids, tissues, and samples. Up to 75% of the time you will be, standing, walking or sitting for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
