About the Role
This is a full-time contractor position based in Denver, CO, with built-in flexibility for remote work. The Licensed Mental Health Provider (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) will primarily focus on providing specialized individual and family therapy using modalities essential for our client population.
This position requires a high degree of clinical independence, organizational excellence, and the ability to manage complex case conceptualization.
Responsibilities
- Carry an active psychotherapy caseload (approx. 20-25 sessions/week). Many of these appointments are during the after school hours (2pm-7pm).
- Maintain clear, timely, and compliant documentation (EHR is JaneApp).
- Collaborate internally with team members and externally with pediatricians/schools.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) in the state of Colorado is mandatory.
- Education: Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited university.
- Malpractice Insurance: Must maintain individual professional liability insurance (or be eligible for coverage under the practice’s group policy).
- Compliance: Must have a clean background check and no history of disciplinary action by DORA or other regulatory bodies.
- After-school hours: Must be able to work 2-7pm as this is when the majority of sessions are scheduled.
Required Skills
- Modality Expertise (Training Required): Proven training and/or certification in at least two of the following evidence-based modalities:
- Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) / Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Emotionally Focused Family/Couples Therapy (EFFT/EFCT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, superb written and verbal communication, and a commitment to clinical collaboration within a team environment.

- Flexibility and openness to a growing group practice
- Openness to expansion to Greenwood Village and/or Superior/Lafayette/Longmont
