About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious, credit-savvy professional to serve as Chief Lending Officer (CLO) in a well-established East Texas community bank. This is an excellent opportunity for a rising leader to take on senior-level responsibilities, shape lending strategy, and have a visible impact on the bank’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial and consumer lending portfolios, ensuring strong credit quality and adherence to bank policies.


• Review, structure, and approve complex loan requests in collaboration with the lending team.


• Develop and execute lending strategies aligned with the bank’s growth objectives.


• Mentor and guide lending staff, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.


• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least six months of CLO-level responsibilities, with strong credit expertise; title not required.


• CCO experience is a plus.


• Leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team of lenders.


• Experience in community banking, commercial lending, or credit administration.


• Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk management skills.
