This legal administrative opportunity is well suited for a highly organized and proactive professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and supporting attorneys with a wide range of administrative and client-service needs. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, self-motivated, and comfortable adjusting to shifting priorities.
Following training, the Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of administrative, document, calendaring, scheduling, and client-support functions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex attorney calendars, including scheduling, cancellations, and resolving conflictsCoordinate and monitor business travel arrangementsPrepare new business intake forms and engagement lettersCreate, maintain, and organize electronic and physical client and internal filesTrack administrative and client-related deadlines, including time entry and billing requirementsPrepare, submit, and monitor expense reimbursementsDraft, format, proofread, and revise correspondence, legal documents, court filings, contracts, notices, statements, and other materialsConduct research regarding procedures for courts and governmental agenciesPrepare binders and materials for hearings, meetings, and client interactionsCoordinate internal and external meetings, including client meetings, Zoom/AV needs, catering, and other logisticsProvide additional administrative support as neededQualifications2–5 years of professional experience in a related administrative or professional-services environment and/or a college degree preferredStrong organizational skills and a high level of professionalismExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong proofreading, word-processing, and attention-to-detail skillsAbility to prioritize multiple assignments and work independentlyStrong proficiency with Microsoft Word and OutlookExperience managing Zoom and virtual meeting logistics preferredAbility to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environmentThe firm offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per weekMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with firm matchProfit sharingVacation, sick, and personal time off.
