Our mission is to bring clarity and transformation to safety, security, and communication through integral technology and radical service.With a commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence, Pavion ensures scalable, future-ready solutions tailored to meet and exceed our clients' needs.Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Technician to join our security business unit.Primary Responsibilities:Lead, supervise, and support a team of security installers across multiple job sitesPlan, coordinate, and oversee daily installation activities to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scopePerform advanced installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection)Ensure all work meets Pavion quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectationsServe as the primary point of contact in the field for technicians, project managers, and customersTrain, mentor, and develop junior technicians to improve overall team skill level and performanceConduct site walks, verify materials, and ensure proper system design executionMaintain accurate documentation, including job progress, changes, and completion reportsIdentify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and reworkBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma5+ years of experience in security system installation (CCTV, access control, intrusion systems)Lenel Onguard (certification and programming experience)Valid driver license and acceptable driving recordProven experience leading or supervising field technicians or installation teamsStrong knowledge of low-voltage systems, wiring standards, and industry best practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience coordinating multiple projects and managing priorities in a fast-paced environmentManufacturer Certifications (i.e. AMAG, SWH, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha, Axis)Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA complianceThe hourly pay range for this position is $30s–$40s per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
