Lead Electrical Engineer – Power System AnalysisWe are seeking a highly motivated Lead Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in Power System Analysis to support a growing portfolio of commercial projects. This is a strategic role for someone ready to step into leadership, mentor junior engineers, and eventually grow into a Director of Engineering position.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed power system studies: short circuit, load flow, coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop.Build and analyze electrical system models using ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower.Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.Provide quality control and peer reviews for electrical designs and studies.Mentor junior engineers in design practices, analysis methods, and project execution.Represent the team in client meetings, proposal development, and design charrettes.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical design for commercial buildings, with a focus on power systems.Proficiency in SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or EasyPower.Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.PE license or EIT with ability to obtain PE shortly after hire.Ideal Candidate Profile15+ years of experience with a PE license.Proven leadership or management experience.At least 5 years of hands-on Power System Analysis.Stable work history – candidates with frequent job changes (1–3 years per role) will not be considered.Detail-oriented and capable of growing into a Director-level role.Considered Candidates7+ years of experience with PE or EIT actively pursuing PE.Strong design background with interest in transitioning into Power System Analysis.Demonstrated leadership traits and ability to quickly learn SKM studies and grow into a leadership role.Note: This is not a power and lighting design role. Design work is minimal and limited to adjustments and minor redesigns in AutoCAD.Career PathThis role is designed to evolve into a Director of Engineering position.
