Labor & Employment Attorney

Overview

• Lewis Brisbois supports junior attorneys in taking on first-chair responsibilities, including depositions and trials, at a pace aligned with their individual readiness and growth.
• The role involves assisting senior attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including interviewing witnesses, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Required experience includes preparing for and assisting with trial preparation (e.g., drafting witness and exhibit disclosures, motions in limine, preparing witnesses) and second-chairing a trial.
• Preferred experience includes handling charges of discrimination filed with the EEOC and WSHRC, drafting position statements, and responding to administrative agency inquiries.
• The Labor & Employment Practice advises clients nationwide on all phases and types of employment litigation, counseling, and training.
• This position operates under a hybrid work arrangement.
