Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced attorney with six to twelve years of experience to join its Labor, Employment & Immigration Practice group as an Associate or Counsel in Seattle. The role may be elevated to an Income Principal for candidates with a portable book of business.
Duties
- Provide legal advice and counseling on labor and employment matters.
- Manage single plaintiff and class action litigation.
- Draft employment agreements, settlements, policies, and handbooks.
- Engage in business development and support practice group growth.
- Collaborate with a diverse team and contribute to pro bono work.
Requirements
- 6 to 12 years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
- Strong client-service approach and communication skills.
- License to practice law in Washington State; Oregon license is a plus.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Certification: License to practice law in Washington State.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Interest or experience in traditional labor legal advice or collective bargaining.
- Experience with Oregon litigation or employment law is a plus.
