Labor & Employment Associate (4–7 Years) – SeattleDirect Counsel represents a well-regarded Am Law firm seeking a midlevel to senior Labor & Employment Associate to join its Seattle office. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to take on meaningful responsibility, build a practice, and work closely with clients on complex employment matters.What You'll Do:Lead and manage employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff and class/collective actionsHandle court appearances, depositions, and all phases of litigationDraft and argue dispositive motions, including summary judgment and arbitration motionsManage discovery, including complex requests, responses, and class certification opposition workCounsel clients on employment compliance, policies, and workplace issuesDraft employment agreements, separation agreements, and workplace policiesConduct labor and employment due diligence in M&A transactionsSupervise and mentor junior associatesWhat We're Looking For:4–7 years of labor & employment experienceStrong litigation background, including motions practice and depositionsExperience with wage & hour and class/collective actions preferredDemonstrated ability to manage matters and client relationships independentlyFederal clerkship experience is a plusExperience at an Am Law 100 firm preferredExcellent writing, analytical, and communication skillsActive Washington Bar admission (or eligibility)Why This Role:High level of responsibility with direct client interactionOpportunity to build and grow a practice within a leading L&E groupExposure to both litigation and counseling workCompetitive compensation: $260,000 – $420,000 + discretionary bonusComprehensive benefits, including 401(k), healthcare, and parental leave
