KitpackerThe Kitpacker is responsible for accurately assembling and packing kits according to established instructions to support daily production and shipping needs. This role plays an important part in ensuring orders are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time.Schedule: A and B shift hours available:A Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, Overtime on WeekendsB Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday - Friday.Candidates must be willing to train on our A Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PMTraining may last up to three months, depending on your learning pace and readiness to transition independently to the B Shift.Opportunity for incremental pay increases in the 1st year of employment with excellent attendance and performance.Essential Functions:Pack all necessary items into specific shipping cartons as per written or verbal instructions. If not clear, ask for explanation.Replenish all items necessary to complete the necessary order.

This is to include printed material, ID labels, and specific shipping cartons. When necessary, alert the proper personnel to order replacement material.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Performs all other tasks/duties as may be assigned by a Manager, Supervisor or Line Lead.Assist in repackaging area as needed.Seeks guidance and direction as necessary for performance of duties.Maintains cooperative working relationship with supervisors.Makes best use of time during the workday.Consistently shows the ability to recognize and deal with priorities.Performs all duties in an independent manner with little supervision.Recognizes and performs duties which need to be performed although not directly assigned – assists others as needed.Competencies:Work closely with diverse groups of employees, temporary workers, and support staff.Time managementStrong interpersonal skillsRequirement/Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in a Manufacturing setting preferredKit Packing and/or packaging experience highly preferredPreferred Education and Experience:Two (2) years of work experience or an equivalent of four (4) years in the industryPhysical Demands:Regularly required to talk or hear.Regularly required to sit, regular use of hands.Frequently required to stand and walk.Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use foot/feet to operate machine.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.The employee must be able to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines and priorities.
