Junior Partner – Legal Practice

We are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Junior Partner to join a growing legal practice based in Miami, Florida .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney who has established a strong reputation within their practice area and is ready to take the next step in their partnership career.

The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on sophisticated matters, developing long-term client relationships, generating new business and contributing to the continued growth and strategic direction of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex and sophisticated legal matters within the relevant practice area.

• Take primary responsibility for significant client matters, ensuring consistently high standards of legal service.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.

• Develop and grow a personal book of business through networking, referrals and targeted business development activity.

• Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients and introduce additional areas of the firm's expertise.

• Work closely with other Partners and senior attorneys on complex, high-value matters.

• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to Associates and junior members of the team.

• Oversee the quality, efficiency and commercial management of client matters.

• Represent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities and other business development activities.

• Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the wider practice.

• Stay current with relevant legal, regulatory and market developments and communicate these effectively to clients and colleagues.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Admission to the Florida Bar and a strong track record within their chosen practice area.

• Significant experience working within a respected law firm or legal practice.

• A proven ability to independently manage sophisticated legal matters and client relationships.

• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of clients' broader business objectives.

• A demonstrable track record of business development and/or an established client following.

• Excellent negotiation, drafting, analytical and communication skills.

• The confidence and credibility to work directly with senior executives, business owners and other key stakeholders.

• Strong leadership skills and a genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior attorneys.

• A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach to partnership.

• The ambition to play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the Miami practice.
