Job InformationNon-exempt; part-time; Monday - Friday; varied hours.; no-benefitsThis position is responsible for providing job coaching support to the Frederick County Scott Key Center and will supervise the work of adults groups with intellectual & developmental disabilities. The Job Coach is responsible for providing support and instruction to the individual at their job site location throughout Frederick County. This position must be willing to be flexible with job assignments to meet the specific needs of the people working independent jobs.

If you are a person who wants to make a difference, give back to your community, and be a voice for change, apply to Frederick County Government today.Essential Duties And Job ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement a job coaching strategy with an I/DD individualAssess the professional strengths and weaknesses of individualDiscover what motivates the individual and assist them in utilizing that motivation in the workplaceAssist employees with disabilities in learning and excelling in their job functionsWhen job coaching is not available, Provide instruction and supervision in a Day Habilitation, Community Access or supported employment programs as assignedUtilize behavior management techniques to ensure appropriate work behaviorAssist assigned workers in their relationships with employers and co-workersCompile and prepare daily progress notes, records and reports and participate in progress reviewsMaintain daily documentation and attendance recordsWhen job coaching is not available, Provide instruction and supervision in a Day Habilitation, Community Access or supported employment programs as assignedTo perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform all essential functions satisfactorily.
