IT Engineer (Azure and AWS Clouds, Active Directory, DevOps)
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer with a strong focus on Azure and AWS cloud technologies, along with expertise in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, PKI, NPS, and DNS. The ideal candidate will also have a solid background in DevOps practices and be proficient in tools such as Terraform and GitLab, including CI/CD pipelines. As an IT Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure and AWS cloud environments, adhering to best practices and security guidelines.
- Implement and maintain Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, PKI, NPS, and DNS services in a hybrid cloud environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Automate deployment and configuration tasks using CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like GitLab.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud environments.
- Conduct periodic audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends, proposing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, PKI, NPS, and DNS services.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with infrastructure as code concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and GitLab, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in complex cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive mindset and the ability to independently drive projects and initiatives.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS certifications, are a plus.
