The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, configuring, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise ALM applications used by engineering organizations. This role requires a blend of application configuration, production support, integration development, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders and engineering teams to implement new features, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.Configure and maintain ALM applications, workflows, approvals, templates, and project settings.Manage change control processes, application configurations, and workflow enhancements.Monitor application performance and proactively troubleshoot issues.Serve as an escalation point for production support and helpdesk teams.Develop and maintain custom integrations using Java and Python.Create and enhance dashboards, live reports, and reporting solutions using JavaScript and Velocity.Update project templates, workflows, metadata, and system configurations to support engineering processes.Collaborate closely with application administrators, infrastructure teams, and engineering stakeholders to ensure system reliability and performance.Support continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate new tools and technologies.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience supporting and configuring enterprise applications.Strong development experience with:JavaJavaScriptPythonVelocityHands-on experience with PostgreSQL databases.Experience supporting enterprise application environments and resolving production issues.Strong understanding of application configuration, workflow management, and integrations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Polarion ALM or similar Application Lifecycle Management platforms.Experience in regulated industries such as:AutomotiveAutonomous VehiclesAerospaceMedical DevicesFinancial ServicesExperience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.Familiarity with reporting, dashboard development, and workflow automation.Experience supporting engineering-focused applications and development environments.Technical Skills RequiredJavaJavaScriptPythonVelocityPostgreSQLPreferredPolarion ALMMySQLSQL/NoSQL DatabasesApplication IntegrationsDashboard DevelopmentWorkflow ConfigurationRole Breakdown60% Application Configuration & Administration40% Production Support & TroubleshootingIdeal Candidate The ideal candidate will possess strong application support and configuration expertise, hands-on development skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to work effectively with engineering teams to enhance and maintain critical ALM platforms.
