IT Applications Team PositionThis position is on the IT Applications team responsible for the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Apps support and configuration. The individual will work with a team of automotive engineers and IT infrastructure engineers to customize, maintain, and advance ALM applications.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldDevelopment experience in Java, Javascript, Velocity, and PythonExperience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, Postgres)Must possess strong verbal and written communication skillsFlexibility, willingness to learn, and a demonstrated ability to come up to speed quickly on new technologies and technical issuesPrior work experience at client or in client's IndustryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience using Polarion within a regulated industry (medical device, aerospace, financial, automotive, etc.)Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environmentDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesWork with stakeholders on features, upgrades, migrations, and integrationsMonitor application performance via established practices and methodsManage workflows, change management, approvals, and sign-offs, and in-application configurations to meet stakeholder needsEvaluate new tools and services with development and support of custom integrations using Java and PythonUpdate template/project configurations, workflows, and work item metadataDevelop dashboards and live reports that support engineering and management needs using Velocity and JavascriptAct as an escalation point for the Client Services team (helpdesk)
