JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking to hire an Inventory Control Manager to support an FAA program in Frederick, MD. This individual will be responsible for overseeing inventory control and logistics operations, ensuring critical materials and spare devices are accurately tracked, readily available, and delivered on time to support program objectives and system response efforts. The Inventory Control Manager will maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system controls while conducting root cause analyses on discrepancies and implementing process improvements to strengthen inventory management practices. This role will oversee the FAA program spares pool, including device deployment, restocking activities, configuration tracking, and urgent shipping requests to support critical operational needs. The ideal candidate will analyze inventory usage trends, demand forecasts, and lead times to develop strategic stocking and replenishment plans that balance availability and cost efficiency. Additionally, this individual will lead FAA-related inventory and logistics projects while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure program deliverables are successfully supported and executed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree
+ 4 years of Inventory Control experience
OR Associates Degree + 10 years of experience
- SAP experience
- MS Office Suite Experience
