Interventional Radiologist

Jackson and Coker is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Texas, starting January 2027. This role involves providing ongoing supplemental coverage, focusing on a variety of interventional procedures in a physician-friendly environment. The position offers a chance to work within a growing health system, supported by a dedicated team.

Practice Info

• Support staff includes IR techs, radiology nurses, and CRNA support for scheduled procedures and emergencies
• Collegial, physician-friendly environment within a growing health system

Responsibilities

• Perform 7–10 IR procedures per day
• Perform Embolizations, TIPS, some Y-90s, paracenteses, thoracenteses, drain placements, ablations, and mediport placements

Shift & Schedule

• Starting as soon as January 2027 for ongoing supplemental coverage support throughout the year
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
• No rounding
• Call requirements are TBD if needed

Requirements

• Board Certified required
• Open to licensing for this position
• Required to complete 6 hours of neonatal/pediatric/adolescent-specific CME at initial appointment and annually thereafter
