nThe Department of Medicine, Pulmonary & Critical Care Division is seeking an Interventional Pulmonologist to join our expanding procedure group (currently 2 Interventional Pulmonologists, 1 advanced bronchoscopist, and advanced practice providers), as part of the larger pulmonary and critical care faculty group. The division boasts a standalone bronchoscopy suite with anesthesia support at the main campus 5 days per week, with anticipated expansion to regional hospitals. The pulmonary program at URMC is recognized as a Top Program in Respiratory Disease by US News and World Report, and our cancer center was recently awarded NCI designation.
nWe seek a faculty member with a passion for academic medicine who has completed a three-year fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and is board-eligible or board-certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Pulmonology is highly desired, but faculty with strong bronchoscopy skills will be considered. Clinical time in the ICU, on Pulmonary Consults, and in the outpatient clinic is available. Protected time for basic, clinical, or translational research can be negotiated.
