Internal Medicine Physician
Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This full-time role involves working collaboratively within a Patient Centered Medical Home team, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care. The position offers a nationally competitive salary and a supportive practice environment.
Practice Info
- Outpatient, primary care services
- Team-based care model including nurses, medical assistants, case and care managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacist clinicians, and clerical staff
- Support from Patient Centered Medical Home team consisting of Clinical Pharmacists, Behavioral Health Clinicians, Care Managers, Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants along with Registered Nurses & Medical Assistants
- EMR: EPIC
- Practice call in rotation with the group
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses
- Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen
- Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests
- Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies
- Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately
- Manage the provider/patient relationship
- Involved in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups
- Work autonomously as well as in collaboration with other health care providers and staff as needed
Compensation
- Nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available

- 16-20 patients per day
- 34 patient contact hours with 6 administrative hours per week
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine
- State of New Mexico Medical License
- DEA & NM Controlled Substance Registration
