Jobot is seeking an IMC MedSurgical RN to deliver high-quality bedside care to adult patients in a fast-paced intermediate care/med-surg setting. In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, monitor changing conditions, administer medications and IV therapies, and support post-op and chronic disease management. You will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly in the EMR, and educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compassion.
- Deliver direct bedside care to adult MedSurg patients, including assessments, vitals, and monitoring changes in condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders and hospital protocols
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EMR
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
- Follow strict infection control, safety, and quality standards to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status and care needs clearly
- Support admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring smooth transitions of care
