Insurance Defense / General Liability Defense Attorney

My client, a top law firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 3 to 10 years of experience to join their Austin litigation team.

The ideal candidate will have 2–7 years of litigation experience, with a preference for candidates who have handled insurance-related matters, including coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, surety bond, and bad faith litigation.

The successful candidate will have experience investigating and defending both first- and third-party claims, taking and defending depositions, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, and appearing at hearings in both state and federal courts.

Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Experience drafting insurance coverage opinions is highly desirable and would be considered an additional advantage.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented professional who works effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $120k-190k ba se. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
