A nationally respected litigation platform is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Boston office, focusing on construction and design professional disputes. This role is ideal for a lawyer who wants real responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to litigate cases from start to finish in a collaborative, high caliber environment.
The opportunity:
This position offers hands on involvement in complex, high exposure matters representing construction and design professionals and related stakeholders. You will work on cutting edge issues affecting the industry while maintaining autonomy over your caseload.
Responsibilities include:
- Independently managing litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Taking and defending depositions
- Drafting and arguing motions and oppositions
- Handling written discovery and expert coordination
- Working directly with clients, insurers, and industry professionals
- Participating in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Preparing cases for trial and providing trial support
Experience sought:
- 5 or more years of litigation experience
- Background in construction litigation and or design professional matters
- Strong motion practice, discovery, and deposition experience
- Admission to practice in Massachusetts; additional New England admissions a plus
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team driven culture

Compensation and benefits:
- Competitive base salary, expected range approximately $135,000 to $165,000 depending on experience
