This role is accountable for delivering measurable improvements in safety, productivity, cost, throughput, quality, and flow efficiency through advanced analytics, Lean methodologies, and cross-functional leadership. Acting as a technical authority, this position drives plant-wide strategies, supports New Product Introduction (NPI), and ensures sustainable operational excellence aligned with key business KPIs.WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:Lead the design and optimization of manufacturing systems (layouts, workflows, material flow) to improve throughput, capacity utilization, and lead timeDrive improvements in safety, OEE, labor productivity, and utilization through data-driven analysis and Lean methodologiesIdentify and eliminate bottlenecks to improve flow efficiency, cycle time, and WIP reductionLead initiatives to improve safety, reduce cost per unit, conversion cost, and overall operational expenses, delivering measurable safety and cost savingsConduct advanced analysis (time studies, capacity modeling, simulations) to optimize system performance and scalabilityPartner with cross-functional teams to improve quality metrics (FPY, defect rates, scrap reduction) through process optimizationLead and execute continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) initiatives, tracking KPI impact including safety and ergonomics, cost, productivity, and cycle timeDevelop capacity models and staffing strategies to align demand, production capability, and resource utilizationSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring safety and ergonomics, manufacturability, scalability, and KPI alignment, while driving standardization and best practicesEstablish and standardize engineering best practices, design guidelines, and continuous improvement frameworksYOU HAVE: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Systems Engineering, or related field7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or operations optimizationProven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in dynamic production environmentsStrong expertise in Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and systems optimizationStrong expertise in the use of production simulation softwarePreferred QualificationsLean Six Sigma Black Belt certificationExperience with 3P (Production Preparation Process)Advanced Excel skills; working knowledge of SQLExperience with data visualization tools such as Machine Metrics, Power BI or TableauPMP or equivalent project management certificationKey CompetenciesSystems thinking and strategic problem-solvingStrong leadership and decision-making capabilityAdvanced analytical and quantitative skillsEffective communication and cross-functional influenceAbility to translate complex data into actionable insightsProficiency with CAD tools for facility layout and process designWE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every daynVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.

Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
