The Associate Attorney has a key role in our practice. This is a hands-on position and will handle complex matters while maintaining an active caseload. This role requires a depth of experience, sound judgment, and a steady presence in a busy immigration practice. Responsibilities: Handle aspects of removal proceedings Conduct consultations with potential clients to assess their legal needs Draft and manage asylum petitions Prepare and file family-based petitions Review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments Knowledge of immigration concepts and strategic solutions Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases Collaborate with colleagues on cases involving family reunification, asylum, or deportation defense Use case management system/database, various firm systems, and project management skills to monitor case milestones, follow up with clients, and meet both legal and client-relations deadlines Exercise meticulous attention to detail to produce error-free forms, correspondence, and related legal work product Prepare and represent clients at USCIS interviews Other tasks as required to meet client and firm needs Qualifications: Minimum 3 years in immigration law and related legal issues, in a multi-attorney or high- volume practice Strong command of family-based, asylum, removal defense, and waiver matters Strong legal writing and courtroom advocacy skills Experience with detained cases and removal defense strongly preferred Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Clear, confident communication skills with clients and colleagues Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage complex matters independently A calm, solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications **** Federal litigation experience a plus Federal Habeas Corpus litigation experience a plus Proficiency with cloud-based immigration case management systems Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 yearly

Compensation:
$90,000-$110,000 per year
