Icompete Program StaffThe dedicated ICompete Program Staff will empower children in grades K-3 to develop and enhance their academic, physical, and social skills. Staff will inspire up to 25 students through engaging academic tutoring, enriching activities, and fun recreational opportunities. Children attending will be bused from local elementary schools in District 15, these young learners will embark on a journey of growth and discovery.
The program runs 12-15 hours per week, from 4:15 pm to 7:15 pm, fostering a vibrant and supportive environment for all.Minimum RequirementsMust have experience working with youth, punctual, friendly, organized, well-spoken, must be willing to take the initiative and lead by exampleMust be able to work with a variety of staff, volunteers and professionals within the communityMust be capable of handling emergency situations and document accordingly, willingness to stay engaged throughout the duration of program, ability to build healthy relationships within community with children and familiesCreativity & Spanish speaking a plus, but not requiredBenefits & WagesSeasonal pool passes for indoor and outdoor pools (individual or discount on family)Fitness Center membership (individual or discount on family)Access to in-house complimentary programsDiscount at Palatine Hills Golf CourseDiscounts at Cutting HallFree open gym/turf and walking trackThe Pay Range is $16 - $16.50/hour.
