Hybrid Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager for a national commercial building-products organization in Frederick, MD. This role will manage commercial doors, frames and hardware projects following project handoff, coordinating materials, vendors, schedules and customer communication through completion.

Job Logistics

• Travel: Site meetings/inspections as project requirements dictate

Day to Day

• Manage multiple commercial DFH projects simultaneously
• Coordinate project requirements following handoff
• Manage material ordering and vendor coordination
• Track product lead times against construction schedules
• Coordinate deliveries
• Communicate with customers and GCs
• Expedite material when schedules change
• Resolve missing, damaged or incorrect material situations
• Maintain project documentation
• Complete project closeout activities

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Construction, Division 8, Division 10 or aluminum storefront exposure
• Current valid U.S. driver's license
• Project management and organizational skills
• Written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Vendor/customer relationship capability

Plusses

• Direct Division 8 commercial doors/frames/hardware background
• CommSense experience
• Existing PM/APM experience

Compensation: Base salary: $70,000–$95,000, with On Target Earnings around: $115-$150k+ depending on experience, with additional commission/variable earning opportunity tied to project performance and gross margin. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
