The HVAC Test Technician Intern will work in support of HVAC development programs, technician installs, tests, calibrates, and repairs electromechanical, and electronic measuring. This can also include supporting aspects of recording and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards.

Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Plymouth, MN – on-siteWhat you will do:Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and the ISO 17025 standardPerform scheduled instrument verification checks and periodic facility maintenanceSet up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instrumentsIdentify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditionsEnsure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are upheld at all timesMaintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe mannerMaintain effective communication with laboratory and project teamsObtain fork truck training/license, scissor lift training/license, or refrigerant handling certificationsPerform test unit setup according to lab procedures and test request requirementsCreate records of testing activities and document them according to laboratory proceduresWhat's in it for you:The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our bestMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDIn a Vocational or Technical Degree program0-2 years of experience in HVACWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionPreferred Qualifications:Fork truck training/license, Man lift training/license, Universal card, R410a cardThe typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $21.35 - $33.97 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
