Hunting Department ManagerOutdoor Emporium in Seattle is seeking a motivated Hunting Department Manager to lead daily operations within our hunting department. This position is responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring department standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, knowledge of firearms/hunting products and outdoor equipment, and the ability to build a positive team environment.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the hunting departmentLead, train, and supervise department team membersMaintain high standards for customer service and professional appearanceAssist customers with product selectionWork with our merchandiser to ensure merchandise is properly stocked & displayedSupport store loss prevention effortsMonitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving merchandiseEnsure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable lawsHandle customer concerns and resolve issues professionallyMaintain accurate pricing and signage throughout the departmentRequirementsPrevious retail management or department lead experience preferredStrong knowledge of firearms and hunting equipmentExcellent communication and leadership skillsDependable, organized, and customer-focusedFlexible schedule including weekends and holiday seasonsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsPassion for hunting, conservation, and the outdoors
