Human Resources Generalist

MidPoint Technology Group is a National Technology Integration Company. We are a technical services company providing integration of system solutions to include Audio-Visual, Electronic Security, Structured Cabling and IT-Wireless Services.

We are currently looking for a HR Generalist to support our office in Columbia, MD. The duties of this role will be as follows, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding for all new hires, including new-hire documentation, drug and background screenings, orientation, and benefits enrollment support
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee and HR related records
• Prepare and maintain HR reports and forms
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, leave, and other HR programs, escalating complex matters as appropriate
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor's in HR, Business or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
• Two or more years of experience in an HR role
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal, Bilingual (spanish) a plus
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
• Aptitude to handle confidential information discreetly
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems; experience with payroll, benefits, or applicant-tracking systems is preferred
